WMPG is a community radio station located at the University of Southern Maine’s Portland campus. It is vibrant, full of life and character, and has a 50+ year long history. As part of my time there, as well as DJing my music show “Sonic Traveler”, I took photos of performances for the long running “mostly live, always local” music and interview show “Local Motives”. You can tune in every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at 90.9 FM in the Portland area, or stream at wmpg.org as well as listen to the archives.
